The "staff favorites" selection of books, are agreed on by more than one Homer Bookstore staff
member and are seconded by the bulk of our readers, who have given us feedback on these titles.
Not being on this list can simply mean that not enough staff members have read a particular book, or we have not had enough readers agree with our
recommendations, or maybe not enough folks were in the right mood when a particular book was first read.
IT IS NOT necessarily a negative criticism of
the quality of any book.
ON THE OTHER HAND, the fact that we display a book as a "staff favorite" (or "guaranteed good"), does not mean every reader will agree with us. It
just means that the chances are good that you will love it as much as we did. We have yet to discover any one title that everyone will love; thus, the great
selection in the rest of the store.
