The author of this book was part of a group
that did a climb to the top of Everest. He
developed cerebral edema during the climb
and was left near the top of the mountain,
believed to be dead. The next day a
climbing party found him partially
undressed, sitting on the edge of a cliff and
conversing with the climbers. This is that
man's story. A very gripping climbing story.
